Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality patient care, assess and manage emergency situations, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams. The RN will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, and adhering to established protocols in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on health issues and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience
- Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
