Schedule/Shift

This position requires working the Night Shift from 18:00 to 06:30, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapy unit at HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a Level II Trauma Center with a bed capacity of 383. The facility utilizes advanced respiratory equipment including Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, Vapotherm, and uses Meditech as the electronic medical record system. The unit maintains a strong patient-centered approach and provides high-quality respiratory care and support.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as necessary.
• Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions and communicate with healthcare team members.
• Document patient care and response in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• ICU experience is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Must possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NRP or STABLE certification is required.
