ARMStaffing is looking for a Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Therapy (Night Shift) in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Night Shift, 19:00 - 07:00, 12-hour shifts, expecting to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide care for patients in the Respiratory Therapy unit. The facility uses PB 840 and PB 980 ventilators and is supported by an electronic medical record (EMR) system, Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
• Monitoring and evaluating patient responses to treatment and adjusting accordingly.
• Working collaboratively with a team of 21 staff members, including 5 RTs on day shifts and 4 RTs at night.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care using EMR.

Required Experience

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Certifications/Licensure

Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist is required, along with certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Experience with intubation and A-line insertions is preferred.
