ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical (Night Shift) in Longview, Texas.

Night shift, 7 PM - 7 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide routine and complex care for a mix of patients with diverse diagnoses and acuity levels, including respiratory issues, sepsis, and multiple co-morbidities. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for assigned patients. Responsibilities also include addressing complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols.
• Monitor patients for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.

Required Experience

• Two years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).
• RN License in the state of Texas or compact.
