Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, supporting patients through their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing patients with various medical and surgical conditions, and possess the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes effectively to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry settings.
• Demonstrated experience in patient care management and assessment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Must be willing to obtain NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification prior to start.
