ARMStaffing is looking for a Physical Therapist, Outpatient Therapy in Loveland, Colorado.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

40 hours per week, with 2 patients scheduled in each hour, generally providing 45 minutes or more of care per patient. Initial evaluations and safety patient sessions are a full hour of one-on-one care.

Job Description

As a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, you will evaluate assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans to meet their needs and goals, in accordance with physician direction. You will be responsible for designing functional treatment programs to facilitate effective return to community activities and participate in the education of patients, families, students, and coworkers. Safety is a priority, and you will uphold professional standards and organizational compliance, prioritizing patient and employee safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records accurately and timely, following state and federal guidelines.
• Ensure all care is provided under valid physician orders and necessary insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student program by providing supervision and evaluations.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education to enhance skillsets.
• Maintain licensing in good standing and adhere to professional ethical standards.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote patient and employee safety and follow safe patient handling guidelines.

Required Experience

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for the location of work.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Physical Therapy License in Colorado.
