Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team starting October 19th. This position involves evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals focused on progressing patients towards discharge.
• Document medical records clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner in compliance with state, federal, and clinic guidelines.
• Provide therapy services under valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in the student program, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Actively pursue professional development and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Adhere to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Maintaining professional licensure in good standing with all state-mandated continuing education requirements.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 shift, providing 60-minute evaluations followed by follow-ups every 30 minutes.
