Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves overseeing all discipline-specific therapy services and ensuring functional treatment programs facilitate an effective return to community activities. Educating patients, families, and colleagues is also a key responsibility, along with adherence to professional standards and organizational codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Ensure documentation is clear, concise, accurate, and timely, in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Participate in the student program by providing supervision and development of learning objectives.
• Continuously pursue professional development opportunities.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives and provide feedback to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure for physical therapy.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, scheduled for a 5x8.0 format, starting December 14th.
