ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Vascular Technologist, Ultrasound (Day Shift) in Weirton, West Virginia.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with weekends as scheduled. Staff work on a 2, 2, 3 shift rotation.

Job Description

The Registered Vascular Technologist will perform various ultrasound imaging procedures, including General Ultrasound, OB, small parts, and Vascular Ultrasound (upper & lower venous & arterial). The technologist will also be responsible for starting IVs as needed and maintaining accurate records using the EMR system, Community Works, and PACS, Intellirad/Intelliconnect.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures, including General Ultrasound, OB, small parts, and Vascular Ultrasound.
• Start IVs as required for imaging procedures.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience

• Experience in General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound required.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current West Virginia License.
• WV CARES certification required prior to start.
