This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

3x12 hour shifts, Days, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend with rotating holidays. Float required if necessary.

Job Description

The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in inpatient renal care. The nurse will work with patients diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, Acute Kidney Injury, End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and general medical surgical cases. A nurse-patient ratio of 1:6 is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with renal conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Prepare patients for dialysis and monitor during treatment.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
