Schedule / Shift

This position requires working a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a schedule of 3x12-hour shifts. Floating to various Cone Health campuses is required, along with working every third weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with one year of experience in acute care rehabilitation. The ideal candidate will possess BLS certification and have knowledge of EPIC charting systems. Responsibilities will include medication reconciliation, interpreting laboratory results, and managing patient health questionnaires. You will provide specialized care to patients with rehabilitation needs, including those recovering from CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage dressing changes.
• Perform capillary actions, label specimens, and conduct phlebotomy.
• Engage in telephone triage and handle pharmacy calls for patient refill requests.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehab experience.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system is required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current and active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
