3x12-hour shifts, days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Acute Care Rehabilitation to provide specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs, including those recovering from stroke, spinal cord injuries, and neurological diagnoses. This role involves floating between all Cone Health campuses as required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laboratory results and perform medication reconciliation.
• Gather patient health history, including allergies and vital signs.
• Perform dressing changes and assist in the setup of aseptic/sterile procedure trays.
• Conduct capillary blood sampling, specimen labeling, and phlebotomy.
• Engage in telephone triage for patient inquiries and medication refills.
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, ABI, and spinal cord injuries.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Acute Care Rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC electronic medical records experience is required.
