This position requires a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, working 3x12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend is required.
Job Description
The facility is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for a Stepdown/PCU unit with experience in cardiac drips. The nurse will be responsible for managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, with patient ratios expected to be 1:3-4. This position may involve floating to Telemetry or Medical-Surgical floors if overstaffed, and the RN will not be required to be on-call.
Responsibilities
- Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Monitor patient status and ensure quality care in the Stepdown/PCU unit.
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for patient support.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS certification is preferred.
- Compact RN license must be in hand at submission.
