Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in PCU/Stepdown for a night shift position. This role requires you to have cardiac drip experience, including the ability to titrate and manage drips as it's a hardstop requirement. The position may require floating between units if overstaffed.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients in the PCU/Stepdown unit.
- Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic for charting.
- Provide patient education and support.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU/Stepdown nursing.
- Charge experience is preferred.
- Must have experience with cardiac telemetry.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- NIHSS certification is a plus.
