Schedule / Shift

Night shift: 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Must work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday) and be on call 2 times per month in addition to regular shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Obstetrics and Gynecology unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2.5 years of experience and possess EPIC experience. The RN will be responsible for managing high-risk patients and performing sterile vaginal exams. Must be willing to float to the Perinatal unit if needed and be available for on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile vaginal exams and manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Utilize external fetal monitoring and recognize treatment for abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Circulate for C-sections as needed.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment, providing excellent patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in obstetrics nursing.
• Recent experience performing sterile vaginal exams.
• Experience managing high-risk patients.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active California RN license.
• AHA BLS.
• ACLS.
• NRP.
• AWHONN Advanced Certification.
