Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse in Postpartum Care to join our facility. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our diverse patient population including high-risk obstetric patients. Candidates must be willing to float to meet facility needs.
Responsibilities
- Circulate on cesarean sections.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries.
- Provide postpartum care including education and support to new mothers.
- Perform assessments and manage patient care following established protocols.
- Document relevant patient information in Epic system.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in postpartum or relevant specialty.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current CA state RN license required (compact license must be in hand at submission).
- ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and BLS certifications required.
