Schedule / Shift

Night shift (4x12-Hour: 19:00 - 07:30) with 4 weekend shifts per month, mandatory on-call twice a month.

Job Description

The position requires a Registered Nurse with recent experience in performing sterile vaginal exams and managing high-risk patients. The candidate must possess knowledge of the CMQCC Category II algorithm and advanced fetal monitoring experience. Epic experience is a hard requirement, and you must be willing to float if needed to Perinatal. The unit has 4 Triage, 11 LDR, 2 OR, NICU & Post-Partum with an emphasis on both low and high-risk labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Use external fetal monitoring effectively.
• Recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with high-risk deliveries.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2.5 years of nursing experience.
• Recent experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active California RN license.
• AHA BLS.
• ACLS.
• NRP.
• AWHONN Advanced.
