Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide high-quality respiratory care in a dynamic, acute care environment. The therapist will be required to float between units and provide care to a variety of patient populations, including pediatrics, adolescents, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Aerosol therapy administration and setup
• Management of mechanical ventilation and high-pressure alarms
• Troubleshooting and providing pulmonary hygiene
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Trach care and management
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Washington State Respiratory Therapy License (WA LIC) in hand
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience with preferred trauma level experience
• Experience in pediatrics and high-acuity settings is advantageous
