Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Respiratory Therapist in a short-term acute care facility. In this role, you will provide essential respiratory care, including floor care and rapid response. You will be part of a Level II Trauma Center that supports a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics, utilizing the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide aerosol therapy and respiratory treatments, including CPAP and BiPAP.
• Perform extubation and tracheostomy care/management.
• Interpret arterial blood gases and adjust ventilator settings as needed.
• Conduct pulmonary hygiene activities and emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in critical care settings.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience in a Level II Trauma or Critical Care setting preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist License (RRT).
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
