Registered Nurse - Med Surg Float Pool

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7PM to 7AM. 36 hours per week available with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool. The position involves floating between all Med Surg Tele units and the South East Tower. Candidates must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule and may be required to float to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care within Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Float between various units as required by staffing needs.
• Participate in the care management and treatment planning for patients.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document patient care using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in acute Med Surg/Telemetry in a hospital setting.
• At least 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Must work at least 1 holiday during the contract period.
