Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience and a current California RN license. As an RN in the Labor and Delivery unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the physical and emotional health of patients throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Administer medications and manage labor progress as directed.
• Document patient care and interventions in the EMR system (Meditech/CPN).
• Assist in various procedures including deliveries and C-sections.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid California RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• 4+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
