Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective delivery and support during the prenatal and postnatal periods.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients throughout their labor and delivery experience.
- Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of mothers and newborns.
- Administer medications and assist with pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Required Experience
- Current California RN license.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Minimum of one year experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
Certifications/Licensure
- Licensed RN in California (Nursys verified).
- Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
- Completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam.
- Verification of professional certifications as required.
- Physical/Health statement submission.
