Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:00.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in a Labor and Delivery setting. The facility cares for a high-risk OB population and has a culturally diverse patient base. Nurses will circulate during cesarean sections and assist with other procedures as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in Labor and Delivery.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform assessments.
- Manage patient care during cesarean sections.
- Support breastfeeding and newborn care protocols.
- Facilitate safe and effective patient discharges.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current California state nursing license (no pending licenses accepted).
- ACLS certification.
- AWHONN Intermediate certification.
- BLS certification.
