Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P Night/Day rotation. 36 hours per week available with the option of 48 hours. Candidates are required to work at least one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend and must be available to work at least one holiday per contract.

Job Description

Join a brand-new Med/Tele unit with 22 beds, where you will provide high-quality care to patients in a supportive and dynamic environment. As a Registered Nurse, you must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule and be prepared to float to other units if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in patient care planning and discharge processes.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital experience, including 1 recent year in Med/Surg/Tele.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.
• A minimum of 2 years of U.S. work history is required for non-U.S. candidates.
