Job Description

The Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) will provide general rehab nursing duties in collaboration with therapy. Responsibilities include evaluating assigned patients and planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care while assisting physicians during examinations and procedures. The RN will promote patient independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patient care, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Document nursing care and patient outcomes accurately.
• Assist physicians during procedures and examinations.
• Administer medications and perform patient tests within the scope of practice.
• Teach patients and families self-care skills related to their conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
