Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during labor and postpartum phases. Experience in labor and postpartum nursing is required. The nurse will work within a team to ensure optimal patient health outcomes and support families during the childbirth process.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patients during labor and delivery
• Provide education and support to mothers and their families
• Maintain accurate patient records in Epic
• Collaborate with medical staff during high-risk deliveries
• Perform assessments and assist with various maternal and newborn care procedures
• Develop care plans based on patient needs and conditions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Active RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
