Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Required to work 4 weekend shifts per month, with mandatory on-call duty twice a month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a multi-faceted Labor and Delivery unit, serving both low and high-risk patients. Responsibilities will include monitoring pregnancies, recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart patterns, and assisting with C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Utilize external fetal monitoring.
• Circulate for C-sections as needed.
• Float to the Perinatal unit if required.
• Provide care to neonates, adolescents, and adults in the Labor and Delivery setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Epic electronic health record experience is mandatory.
• Active California RN license is required.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
