Job Description

The role involves providing nursing care in a fast-paced Med Surg unit specializing in Neuroscience and Epilepsy. You will be responsible for managing the care of patients with various neurological conditions including strokes and seizures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies as they arise.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient progress and collaborate with team members on care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in a Med Surg unit, particularly with neurology patients, strongly preferred.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
