Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week for the initial 6 weeks, with the option to extend for an additional 13 weeks.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials. This role requires proficiency in handling various imaging equipment and providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Perform imaging procedures in accordance with prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data.
• Collaborate with medical staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT (N), CNMT, NMT, or a valid state license as a General Radiographer.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
