Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Day shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation services to patients in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and Acute Rehab settings. The therapist will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and implementing follow-up treatments, including vestibular and lymphedema treatments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions and needs
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans
• Provide follow-up treatments and monitor patient progress
• Engage in effective communication with patients and the rehabilitation team
• Utilize various rehabilitation equipment to facilitate patient treatment

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification is required
• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab setting is preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
