Inpatient Rehabilitation Physical Therapist

Job Description

A state-of-the-art, 62-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join their therapy team. The facility specializes in helping individuals regain independence after experiencing injuries or illnesses. The rehabilitation programs are tailored to address unique patient needs in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, develop treatment plans, and execute therapy interventions for patients in inpatient rehabilitation.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout the recovery journey.
• Collaborate with medical staff to determine patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and procedures to enhance recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Physical Therapist license from an accredited university and program.
• A minimum of one year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong skills in neuro rehabilitation are highly desirable.

Schedule

This is a day and weekend shift position with guaranteed weekly hours of 20.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
