Registered Nurse - Stepdown Unit

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Stepdown Unit. The role includes the potential to float to related units to provide comprehensive care for patients in need of stepdown services.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for stepdown patients according to established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in health status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 18 months of combined permanent RN experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Must possess a valid Ohio RN license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Experience with ECG rhythm recognition preferred.
• Travel experience is highly regarded.
