Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Day Shift

Day shift: 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30), Tuesday through Saturday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation and treatment services in an acute rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in a variety of communication and swallowing disorders, demonstrating expertise in the use of augmentative communication devices, dysphagia management, and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to enhance patient engagement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• California State License for Speech Language Pathology.
• Certification in BLS is mandatory.
• Preferred experience in Trauma Level II facilities.
