Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently and managing a typical caseload of 1-3 adult outpatient visits per day alongside acute care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Administer and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Speech Language Pathology, with the ability to work independently.
• Active California State License.
• ASHA Certified Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
