4 × 10 hour shifts weekly, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Job Description

The Cardiac Cath/EP Lab is a 6-room unit with 9 holding bays focused on delivering high-quality care in a level-1 Trauma Center environment. Nurses will participate in diagnostic procedures to complicated cases, working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with patient management in the holding area with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:3.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor patients during and after procedures with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 in the intraprocedure setting.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
• Be available for on-call duties including 1-2 nights per week and every 4-5 weekends.
• Float between affiliated campuses as necessary based on operational needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab.
• Prior travel experience is required.
• Valid nursing license and certifications in ACLS and BLS are mandatory.
• RCIS certification is recommended.
