AM Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM (5 × 8 hr shifts, 40 hrs/week)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at a STEMI center. The position involves working in two labs that perform a variety of peripheral vascular procedures, cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology implants, pacemaker and ICD implants, generator changes, and atrial flutter ablations. The candidate will be responsible for scrubbing both elective and emergent cases alongside interventionalists during high-stakes situations.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for both elective and emergent interventional procedures, including STEMIs and peripheral cases.
• Assure effective preparation and recovery in a 6 bay area.
• Handle 4 to 10 cases per day, demonstrating proficiency with specific machines such as Shockwave, Rotablator, Penumbra, Impella, and IABP.
• Participate in on-call rotation, providing coverage from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend call approximately once every four weeks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of experience in interventional cardiovascular technology.
• Previous travel experience is required.
• ACLS and RCIS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with scrubbing cases during critical procedures.
