Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care services to patients requiring emergency and intensive care, as well as therapeutic treatment for pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves invasive and non-invasive monitoring, diagnostic testing, and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in emergency and intensive care settings.
• Deliver therapeutic treatments for various pulmonary and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Conduct diagnostic testing and patient education related to respiratory health.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guarantee of 36 hours per week, including every other weekend (Friday/Saturday).

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Required
• Comfortable with ventilators - Required
• Comfortable with EKGs - Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NBRC
• State Licensure: Michigan
