Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15). 36 or 48 hours per week accepted. If 48 hours, no overtime billed until after 48 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Neuro Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a teamwork approach to patient care with a strong focus on patient safety. Responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care to patients, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Administer medications and manage patient care equipment.
• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice or compact license.
• Current certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support).
• NIH certification is preferred; neuro experience is a plus.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
