Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab will provide care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. The role requires strong clinical skills, adherence to protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with a variety of specialized procedures including angioplasties and stent placements.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid Alaska RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a Cath Lab or similar environment.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Skills in various procedures such as angioplasty, central venous access, and interpretation of dysrhythmias are required.
