4x10 Days - Wednesday to Saturday, from 06:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

Job Description

The Medical Lab Technician will perform laboratory tests and procedures, ensuring that results are accurate and timely. This role involves using various clinical laboratory instruments, adhering to quality assurance practices, and reporting findings to relevant healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Accession specimens and perform analysis using automated instruments.
• Conduct manual differentials and microscopic urinalysis.
• Ensure quality control and assurance procedures are followed.
• Report test results accurately and promptly.
• Collect, receive, and transport specimens as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical laboratory setting.
• Certifications: ASCP, ASCP MT, or ASCP-MLT.
• Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (experience with Epic preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
