Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting in various procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab and interventional radiology. The role requires proficiency in operating equipment and providing technical support during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures.
• Assist in the insertion of various devices and support systems in the lab.
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain safe environments during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Ensure equipment functionality and assist in the maintenance of cath lab supplies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or related field.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either ARRT (R) or RCIS.
• Experience with electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular monitoring, and neuro intervention preferred.
• Must be able to float within institutional needs as required.
