Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry (Days)

Schedule

This position offers a 12-hour day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, available every Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday. You will be required to work a total of 36 hours per week, with one weekend shift each week or two shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our Med/Surg Telemetry Unit, which comprises 40 beds, and provide excellent care to our patients. You’ll be responsible for administering treatments, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing.
• At least 2 years of work experience in the U.S. required for non-U.S. candidates.

Required Licensure and Certifications

• Active New York RN license.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Additional Information

Flexibility is essential for this role according to the needs of the facility’s schedule. You may be requested to float to other units as needed and must be willing to take on charge responsibilities. Training will be provided if required. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
