This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: NIGHTS - 12HR: 7P-7A. 36 hours per week available. Must work either 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Required to work at least 1 holiday during the contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Float Pool team. The nurse will float between all Med Surg Tele units, providing essential care to patients in a variety of settings. Flexibility in scheduling is key, as the position requires floating to other units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Med Surg and Telemetry units.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of recent experience in acute med surg/tele required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York Registered Nurse license is required.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
