X-Ray Technician for Operating Room

Days, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to join our team in the operating room. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to perform X-Ray procedures effectively in a surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray imaging procedures in the operating room.
• Utilize IV power injectors as needed and maintain certification.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide accurate imaging support.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment following safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current X-Ray experience.
• IV Power Injector Certification is required.
• Operating room experience is essential.
• ARRT certification and current New York State Radiologic Technologist license required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is required.
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
