Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part Time Night Shift

Schedule

Part Time Nights (2x8s/3x8s), every other weekend. Must be able to begin orientation on a Tuesday or Thursday.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will perform direct and indirect designated resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. The LPN will ensure that resident care is delivered in a safe and comfortable environment, meeting the needs of adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Meet residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in the care plan.
• Maintain resident environment and safety, including promptly addressing call lights and alarms.
• Support residents' nutritional needs through meal delivery and assistance with feeding.
• Assist with residents' rehabilitative needs, including range of motion and ambulation.
• Report residents' rights, refusals, and changes in status to the Charge Nurse promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY LPN Licensure
• BLS (AHA or RQI) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN or in a similar capacity

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
