Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and indirect resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. This role requires demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to deliver appropriate care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring that each patient's physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Maintain resident safety and cleanliness in accordance with care plans and protocols.
• Fulfill resident nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Support resident rehabilitative needs through exercise and mobility assistance.
• Report changes in residents' physical and emotional status to the Charge Nurse promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York LPN Licensure
• BLS (AHA or RQI only)
• 1 year of experience as an LPN, preferably in long-term care or a similar setting

Schedule

Part-Time Evenings (2x8s/3x8s), with full shift orientation required on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Availability for holiday shifts is also required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
