Surgical Services RN - Day Shift (OR)

Day shift: 3x12-hour (06:45 - 19:15)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services RN to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating room procedures and be skilled in patient monitoring and care during surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the operating room environment.
• Assist in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to hysterectomies, amputation, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations as required.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Pending New Mexico license acceptable; must be obtained prior to start.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
