Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Step Down/Tele RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a step-down unit. This role involves monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a step-down/telemetry environment.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS and SAMA preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a step down unit or telemetry setting preferred.
• Must have a permanent address more than 50 miles from the facility.
