Job Description

The Birthing Center Supervisor provides interim supervisory support to the Birthing Center Manager, ensuring continuity of operations, staff competency, and compliance with organizational policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and patient care delivery in collaboration with the Birthing Center Manager.
• Implement and reinforce established policies, clinical protocols, and procedures.
• Provide staff education, orientation support, and competency validation as needed.
• Promote compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource to staff and leadership during the assignment.
• Work in the nursing rotation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Colorado Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• AWHONN intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring or C-EFMSTABLENRP Instructor.
• Minimum of five years of Obstetrics Nursing and Neonatal experience required with prior leadership experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual capabilities are helpful.
