Job Description

Join our dynamic Emergency Department, which supports a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Our 64 bed unit includes 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma rooms, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds, where you will encounter common diagnoses such as stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Floating to other departments as needed.
• Charge nurse capability is highly preferred.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric experience preferred.
• Active New York RN License and verification through NURSYS.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Valid driver’s license with an address matching demographics.
